In that case, the following tips for using skin rejuvenating set will definitely come in handy.

Tips for using SOAP:

  • Wash face with soap.
  • DO NOT LEAVE SOAP on face for too long. 20 seconds is ENOUGH!
  • DO NOT RUB FACE when washing. Be gentle with your face!

Tips for using REJUVENATING TONER:

  • Get a SMALL cotton ball
  • Wet with 5 DROPS OF TONER
  • Apply to face with ONE GENTLE STROKE, ONE DIRECTION!
  • DON’T RUB THE COTTON ON THE FACE! DON’T OVERDO IT!

Tips for using REJUVENATING CREAM:

  • Apply a PEA-SIZED amount on the whole face.
  • Apply cream LIGHTLY.

Tips for using SUNBLOCK:

  • ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS! USE SUNBLOCK before going out.
  • Reapply as NEEDED!

WHAT TO EXPECT?

  • Itchiness and tingling sensation are all EXPECTED REACTIONS! (This is due to skin cells renewal and regeneration)
  • BREAKOUTS are also possible as part of clearing and renewing process
  • MICROPEELING is normal! Some may experience it, others may not. Still skin type varies.
  • If redness is noted, apply toner and cream every other day. Continue applying sunblock.
  • If redness is SEVERE, PAUSE FOR A WEEK. Apply ice for cooling relief. Always APPLY SUNBLOCK! Gradually RESUME with the whole set after a week. Use toner and cream every other day then use it everyday on the following week. Also, avoid rubbing the toner and cream onto your skin and pat onto it instead.

Important tip on rubbing or patting when using the toner and rejuvenating cream:

But when should you pat a toner and a cream in versus rub it? And does it really make a difference? Read on to understand what these varying techniques mean for you and your skin.

Rubbing: That circular motion you use to drive products deep into your skin could do more harm than good. “Rubbing in skincare products can cause friction, stretch the skin, and break down collagen and elastic which will cause wrinkles and sagging,” explains Glow Recipe co-founder and co-CEO Sarah Lee.

Patting: “This technique is more gentle because it doesn’t tug or pull at your skin, and has the added bonus of helping with blood circulation,” Lee says. “It also ensures even distribution, which means that you’re getting the most out of your skincare, and is especially important around the delicate eye area, where patting is the priority.”

When to Rub vs. When to Pat: Almost your entire skincare regimen — toners, essences, serums, moisturizers, and eye creams included — should be patted into the skin, since liquids, creams, lotions, and gel-based offerings absorb best with this technique. Leave the (gentle!) rubbing for cleanser application, where the motion helps activate the foam.

To get the most out of your pat, apply the product to your hands and rub them together. This helps make sure you have an even layer on your hands. “Gently pat products onto the face, starting from the inside areas moving outward, applying the remaining product on your most oily areas, like the T-zone,” she says. “For an extra glow, pat an additional layer on the high points of your face.”

  1. Hi!
I’ve been suffering from acne for one and a half year na. A have several pimples on my cheeks about 4 to 5 each, and every time po na may isang mawawala, magiiwan naman ng red marks, based on my research those are PIE.
I want to clear up my face, but i don’t have the budget to consult a derma. Lalo pa at simula na naman ng school, nakakawala talaga ng confidence halos hindi ko na hubarin ang mask ko e.
That is why I’m requesting your help and opinion po, I’m still not desided on what product i should use btw I’m 17 yrs old.

Currently, I don’t use any product except for dove bar soap for my face.

    1. Hello Gracelyn,

I understand your concern about acne and post-inflammatory erythema (PIE). I can provide general advice. Here are some steps you can consider:

      • Gentle Cleansing: Continue using a gentle cleanser like the Dove bar soap. Avoid harsh scrubs or over-cleansing, as it can worsen irritation.
      • Sun Protection: Apply sunscreen daily, as sun exposure can make red marks more noticeable. Look for a non-comedogenic sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher.
      • Hydration: Keeping your skin well-hydrated can aid in its healing process. Consider using a mild, non-comedogenic moisturizer.
Avoid Picking: Refrain from picking or squeezing your pimples, as this can lead to further inflammation and scarring.
      • Spot Treatment: Look for over-the-counter spot treatments containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. These can help with active pimples.
      • Patience: Healing takes time. PIE can fade over months to a year. Be patient and consistent with your routine.
      • Diet and Lifestyle: Maintain a balanced diet, stay hydrated, and manage stress as they can impact your skin.
      • Consultation: If possible, consider consulting a dermatologist even for a one-time consultation. They can recommend suitable products or treatments.
      • Affordable Options: If budget is a concern, look for affordable drugstore brands with non-comedogenic and fragrance-free products.

Remember, every person’s skin is unique. It’s important to introduce new products slowly and do patch tests to ensure you don’t have adverse reactions. Consulting a dermatologist is recommended if your condition doesn’t improve or worsens.

  2. hello, my skin peels and glows on the 1st and 2nd week. on my third week my skin gets dry and no glowing. is this a proceess or it stops working?

    1. Hello!
If you’re using rejuvenating set and experiencing peeling and glowing in the first two weeks followed by dryness in the third week, it’s possible that you’re over-exfoliating your skin. Over-exfoliation can strip your skin of its natural oils and lead to dryness, irritation, and other issues. It’s important to use exfoliating products as directed and not more frequently than recommended.

You might want to consider adjusting your exfoliation routine to see if it helps with the dryness. You could try reducing the frequency of exfoliation (toner and night cream), or switching to a gentler rejuvenating set. It’s also important to make sure you’re properly hydrating your skin with a moisturizer, especially during the dry week.

You mentioned that your face has become slightly red and itchy, but you can handle the discomfort.
