This is a popular latex pills in Japan, and the 第2類医薬品 on the box simply means it’s a general medicine like the cold pills and fever pills and even eye drops that you see in CVS. They don’t exactly need prescription but you need to follow exactly the instructions or consult pharmacist ahead as some products have minor side effects. I put a picture of a brand of nature latex pills I often buy in CVS. The brown pills are extremely huge and even chocke me several times.
